Privacy Policy

This policy covers nfcempire.net and the course site at course.nfcempire.net, both operated by NFC Empire ("we", "us").

The short version: we collect your email address if you ask for the free preview, and your purchase is handled by a payment processor who shares only what we need to give you access. We do not sell your data, and there is no advertising tracking on this site.

What we collect

If you request the free preview

We collect the email address you type into the form. It is stored by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email provider, who send you the preview and any follow-up emails. Kit also records ordinary email metrics such as whether a message was opened.

If you buy something

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record. They collect your name, email, billing address and payment details directly.

We never see or store your card details. What reaches us is your email address, what you bought, and the licence key issued for it.

When you use the course

Access is granted by a licence key, not an account — there is no username or password, and we hold no profile for you. Once your key is validated we place a single signed cookie (course_access) in your browser so you are not asked for the key again on that device. It contains an expiry date and a one-way fingerprint of your key. Nothing else.

Your progress through the lessons is stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data clears your progress, and progress does not follow you between devices.

Site measurement

We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and see which pages people visit. It is cookie-less and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other websites. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any cross-site tracking.

Why we hold it

• Your email — to send the preview you asked for, and occasional emails about the product. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Purchase and licence details — to give you access to what you bought, and to handle refunds or support.
• The access cookie — so you do not have to re-enter your licence key on every visit.

Who else is involved

These companies process data on our behalf. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Lemon Squeezy — payments, invoicing, licence keys and delivery emails
• Kit — the email list and the preview email
• Vercel — hosting for both sites, plus privacy-friendly analytics

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Email addresses stay on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Purchase records are retained by Lemon Squeezy for as long as tax and accounting rules require. The access cookie expires one year after you unlock the course.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to receive a copy in a portable format, or to object to how we use it.

Email nfcempiresupport@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your data will end your access to any course you bought, so we will say so before acting.

To leave the email list without contacting us, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send.

Children

This is a business course and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Security

Both sites are served over HTTPS. The course-access cookie is signed, so it cannot be forged or edited to grant access. Because we hold no passwords and no card details, the most sensitive thing we store about you is your email address.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting people already on the list will be announced by email.
